Prophet Jacob (A.S) in Quran

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

Jacob (A.S) is mention in the Quran as the possessor of Power and wisdom. His patience is the one thing that is reflected in the Quran and there are many more lessons to be learned once you recite the Quran and find out about the references and the lessons it has to give.

And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons and so did Jacob; "O my sons! Allah hath chosen the faith for you; then die not except in the state of submission (to Allah)." (Surah Al-Baqara)

Were ye witnesses when death appeared before jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship thy God and the God of thy fathers―of Abraham Isma`il and Isaac,―the one (true) God to Him we bow (in Islam)."(Surah Al-Baqara)

Prophet Issa (Jesus Christ) A.S in Quran

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

Jesus Christ as we know him, possessed miracles as bestowed upon him by Allah Almighty. Allah revealed the gospel (Bible) upon him and he was crucified and taken to heavens for a later reincarnation and a purpose that has to be fulfilled then. The Son of Virgin Mary has been mentioned in the Quran to let all the Christians know that Christ is not the son of God as they say it. There is a bigger purpose that needs to be fulfilled.

Behold! the angels said "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be christ Jesus, the son of Mary held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.” (Surah Aal-e-Imran)

“O people of the Book! commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an Messenger of Allah and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One Allah: glory be to him: (for Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.” (Surah An- Nisa)
